I am a Lecturer (or Assistant Professor, depending on where you come from) in Computer Science at the University of Exeter, and a research associate at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, and at St Benet's Hall, University of Oxford. I am also a science communicator, having written for Science, HuffPost Brazil, The Conversation, and produced over 50 videos for YouTube.
My research interests cover the intersection of computational social science, complex systems, data science, cultural evolution, cultural sociology, and information theory. In summary, I develop new computational methods to study the evolution of information.
